Calumet County Children with Disability Education Board

Calumet County derives its name from a Menominee Indian Village lying on the east shore of Lake Winnebago. the name means "peace" and its name signifying the indian Pipe of Peace, is symbolized in the slogan known to have been used by a county newspaper editor nearly a century ago - "We Extend the Calumet to All Mankind".
