Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

This video introduces the topic of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).  TBI became a special education handicapping condition under the Individuals with Disabilities Act in Wisconsin in 1995.  Statistics show that 1 in 25 students with sustain an acquired brain injury before high school graduation and these students have difficulty with learning and behavior that stems directly from their brain injuries.  Parents and Educators have many skills that they can use once the understand the needs of students with TBI.
